Milan

Milan is the second-most populous city in Italy and is part of the Lombardy region. There are numerous options for a hostel in Milan but if you want to stay within your budget and be on the most social spot in Milan, we recommend you the “Combo Milano hostel”

The minimum price for a shared room is €28.00 per night and includes bathrooms, towels, shampoo, free WI-FI, personal locker and breakfast. However, if you are planning on having a private room that is €127.00 for 2 adults. In the hostel, you can also find a shared kitchen and laundry room. The hostel is located 2,3 km from the city centre but there is a metro station 6 minutes away from the hostel where you can catch the metro and go to the city centre.

Genoa

Genoa is one of the most historically and culture-rich cities in Italy. That’s why we think it’s worth it staying in a place close to the historical and cultural sights. Victoria House Hostel is only 10 minutes walking from the historical city centre of Genoa and only 2 minutes away from Piazza Colombo and San Vincenzo. The minimum price for a shared bedroom is €19.00 whereas the maximum is €22.00. Breakfast is not included in the price but there is a fully equipped kitchen and a living room where you can enjoy your meal. The hostel was built in 1900 and you can enjoy a complete historical experience while Backpacking with your Vespa in Genoa.

Pisa

The city of Pisa is known for its famous leaning tower but there are more than 20 historical churches and cultural activities to experience as well. That’s why we recommend staying in Hostel Pisa Tower which is located in the centre and around the corner of the hostel you can see the famous leaning tower. The minimum price for a shared bedroom is €18.36 whereas if you want to stay in a double private bedroom the minimum price starts from €61.96.  There is a free WI-FI and in some rooms, there are extras such as Play Station 3. The hostel offers a private garden where you can enjoy a BBQ night with friends or the people from the hostel. The price does not include breakfast.

Venice

Venice is a city of canals and has over 400 bridges. For the best experience in Venice, we recommend staying in Anda Venice which is one of the most popular hostels in Venice and 2nd best large hostel worldwide for 2020. Close to the hostel, there is a train station from where you can catch a bus and get to the city centre in less than 10 minutes. The minimum price for a shared bedroom is €16.00 whereas a private double bedroom is €45.00. Breakfast is not included but there is a shared kitchen and a beautiful garden where you can enjoy your morning coffee. At night you can enjoy the Alai Life hostel bar where every weekend there is a free event with aperitif and live music.

Rome

Rome is the capital city of Italy and is known for its famous Colosseum and the St. Peter’s Basilica. Ostello Bello Roma Colosseo  hostel is located only 5 minutes away from the Colosseum and there is a metro station within only 500-meter distance. The minimum price for a shared bedroom can be as little as €18.81 up to €30.31. The private double bedrooms start from €67.32 up to €71.74. All rooms have a private bathroom and a seating area. Breakfast is not included in the price but there are many nearby shops, cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy your morning coffee next to the Colosseum.

Naples

Naples is the third-largest city in Italy and is one of the oldest urban areas in the world. Hostel of the Sun is a great accommodation option for your stay in Naples because it is only 800 meters away from the city centre and 10 minutes walking distance from the Galleria di Plazzo. This hostel is part of Europe’s famous hostel’s network and is recommended by Lonely Planet and Guide du Routard. The minimum price for a shared bedroom is only €15.00 whereas the maximum is €18.00. Breakfast is not included in the price but there is access to the kitchen with free coffee and tea. The staff can assist you with organizing a boat trip to the island of Capri or plan a restaurant where you can enjoy your dinner.

The Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi coast is a coastline in south Italy named after the town of Amalfi. However, staying in Amalfi could be very expensive, that’s why we recommend B&B II Sentiero which is located in the city of Agerola. Amalfi is easily accessible from there with public transport and the bus stop is only 2 minutes away from the hostel. This hostel offers only private rooms with a minimum price of €30.00 without breakfast. The rooms have a balcony and are equipped with TV, WI-FI and bath towels. Nearby the Hostel there are a lot of bars, restaurants and mini-markets.

Florence

Florence is the birthplace of the Renaissance and is known by the famous artist Leonardo da Vinci. To get the best out of this experience we recommend staying in Leonardo House. The location of this hostel is perfect and everything can be reached within a walking distance. Three minutes away there is a train station and only one to five minutes away you can visit one of the most popular sites such as the Duomo or Ponte Vecchio. The minimum price for a shared bedroom is €24.00. However, if you want to book a private double bedroom you can pay as little as €49.00. The hostel offers free city maps, WI-FI and the staff can assist you with reserving your tickets for the most popular cultural sights.

Bologna

Bologna is the seventh most populous city in Italy and is also known with its dialect Bolognese as the most popular Italian pasta. II Nosadillo Hostel is a great place to stay in Bologan because it is only 8 minutes away from the main square Piazza and you can explore many sightseeing nearby. The minimum price is €25.76 for a shared bedroom and within the price, there is a breakfast included. However, this hostel does not offer private bedrooms. Furthermore, there is a shared kitchen and laundry room in the hostel and nearby there is a famous hipster street called Via del Pratello where you can enjoy typical pasta famous for the region.
